Finding office space at a project site is rarely the difficult part — what most businesses need is an office they can start using quickly and move whenever the project shifts.
That's why portable office cabins have become a common choice across construction projects, factories, warehouses and infrastructure developments. They provide a proper workplace without waiting for a permanent building to be completed, and if the project shifts to another location, the office can usually move with it.

CabinWala manufactures portable office cabins from its Jaipur facility for businesses that need dependable workspace on-site. Every cabin is produced after understanding how it will actually be used — some customers ask for a compact office where two engineers can work comfortably, others need separate cabins for managers, meeting rooms, pantry space or an attached washroom. The layout changes because every project works differently.
The structure is fabricated using a heavy-duty MS steel frame and insulated wall panels. Electrical wiring, flooring, windows and other standard fittings are completed before dispatch, so there is very little left to prepare once the cabin reaches your site — an office that can start working as an office, not another unfinished job that still needs weeks of labour.
Good office cabins aren't defined by long feature lists. What matters is how they perform after months of regular use.
Construction and industrial sites expose buildings to heat, dust and changing weather throughout the year. A heavy-duty MS steel frame with insulated wall panels provides the strength needed for regular use while helping protect the interior from outside conditions.
Anyone who has spent an afternoon inside an uninsulated metal cabin knows how quickly it heats up. Glasswool and Rockwool insulation help reduce that heat transfer, making the office noticeably more comfortable, especially during Rajasthan's summer months.
Instead of arranging separate electricians after delivery, lighting points, switches, power sockets and AC provision are already incorporated during manufacturing. After installation, only the final external connection is generally required.
Office chairs, filing cabinets and constant foot traffic put flooring under pressure every day. Marine plywood finished with vinyl or laminate provides a surface that is practical, durable and easy to maintain over time.
Sliding UPVC or aluminium windows improve ventilation while allowing plenty of natural light into the office. Depending on the project, windows can also be positioned to improve airflow without affecting the internal layout.
No two offices are planned in exactly the same way. Some projects only require an open workspace, while others include manager cabins, meeting rooms, washrooms or pantry areas. Planning these details before manufacturing helps avoid unnecessary alterations later.
There isn't a single solution that works for every project. If you're building a permanent administrative office that will remain in one location for decades, conventional construction may be the better choice. If the office is needed for a project that will eventually move, the calculation changes.
For many contractors and infrastructure companies, the ability to reuse the same office on future projects is one of the main reasons they choose a readymade office cabin instead of temporary brick construction.
A question we hear quite often is whether it's better to build a permanent office or install a prefab office cabin. The answer usually depends on the project itself. If the office is only needed for a construction site or a temporary location, a prefab cabin is often the more practical option because it can be manufactured quickly and moved if the project shifts. Permanent construction makes more sense when the building is expected to stay in one place for years.
A portable office is useful anywhere a business needs a functional workspace without constructing a permanent building. Because the layout can be customised, the same cabin design works across different industries.
Dedicated workspace close to the work area for engineers, supervisors and project managers.
Durable offices that can be relocated as work progresses.
Temporary offices during expansion, maintenance or new production lines.
Offices for railway, bridge and metro developments.
On-site project offices for highway and expressway works.
Workspace for engineers and project management teams.
Administrative cabins for dispatch, inventory and operations teams.
Temporary offices for public infrastructure and field operations.
On multi-cabin sites, office cabins are usually paired with other units — a security cabin at the gate, bunk houses for staff accommodation, and portable toilets for on-site sanitation — all manufactured and delivered together from our Jaipur facility.

A portable office cabin isn't an off-the-shelf product. Two cabins may have the same length and width but differ completely once you look at the materials, insulation, interior layout and fittings. That's why quotations vary from one project to another.
Once your requirements are clear, we prepare a detailed quotation that explains exactly what is included. The quotation lists the materials, specifications and costs clearly, so you know exactly what's included before manufacturing begins.
A portable office cabin should do more than look good on delivery day — it should keep performing after months of regular site use. That's why we manufacture every cabin at our Jaipur facility, where design, fabrication and finishing are handled by our own team, giving you the flexibility to make changes before production starts.
That means honest, itemized pricing, dependable lead times, and a finished cabin that actually holds up to daily site use — backed by ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing.

There's no fixed price because every cabin is built differently. A small office for two or three people will naturally cost less than a larger cabin with partitions, insulation or an attached washroom. Prices usually start from ₹85,000, and once we know your requirements, we'll share a quotation based on the cabin you're planning to build.
The most common sizes are 10 ft, 20 ft, 30 ft and 40 ft, but those aren't the only options. If your site has limited space or you need a different layout, we can manufacture the cabin in custom dimensions as well.
Absolutely. Most of the cabins we build are customised in some way. Some customers only need an open office, while others ask for a washroom, pantry, meeting room or separate cabins for staff. We'll discuss everything before manufacturing begins so the finished cabin suits your day-to-day work.
The cabin is built on a heavy-duty MS steel frame, which provides the strength needed for transportation and regular site use. For the walls and roof, we use MS Sheet or GI Sheet panels with Glasswool or Rockwool insulation, depending on the project and location.
Production time depends on the size of the cabin and the level of customisation involved. A standard portable office cabin is usually ready within 2–3 weeks, while larger office complexes or customised layouts may require additional time. Once the design is finalised, we'll share an estimated production and delivery schedule before manufacturing begins.
It can. In fact, that's one of the reasons many businesses choose a portable office cabin in the first place. Many of our customers continue using the same cabin even after one project ends. When work starts at a new site, they simply relocate the cabin instead of building another temporary office.
Metal structures can heat up quickly if they aren't insulated properly. That's why many customers choose Glasswool or Rockwool insulation. It helps reduce heat entering through the walls and roof, making the office noticeably more comfortable during the day. If the cabin will be used through Rajasthan's peak summer, adding an air conditioner can make the workspace more comfortable during the hottest part of the day.
With normal use and routine maintenance, a well-built portable office cabin commonly lasts between 10 and 15 years. Cabins used in demanding environments or relocated frequently may require more maintenance over time, while permanently installed units often remain in service for much longer.
Yes. We manufacture all our cabins in Jaipur, but we regularly supply projects across Rajasthan and other parts of India. If your site is outside Jaipur, we'll plan the delivery and installation accordingly.
Of course. Some projects begin with a single office and later expand as the team grows. We can manufacture multiple cabins that work together as one office, complete with meeting rooms, staff cabins or other facilities.
Yes. Delivery is only part of the job. Our team also helps with installation so the cabin is positioned correctly and is ready for use at your project site.
When you buy directly from us, you're speaking with the people who are actually building your cabin. If you want to change the layout, add a washroom or make any other changes, those discussions happen directly with our team. It keeps communication direct, so decisions can be made faster without messages passing through multiple people.
